There are two ways of importing a project in eDoc.

1.   The project import of a project that was exported from a different eDoc system as a project export.

2.   Importing the project as folder structure from the Windows Explorer.

The request must be answered according to the import market.

1.   Project import of an eDoc project: No

2.   Import Windows Explorer structure: Yes

When importing a Windows Explorer structure, the folder naming must follow a rule:

[Chapter: Alphanumeric characters] Spacing [Title: Document title]

e.g. A02 Storage water pump

Everything before the space is imported as the chapter designation. If the folder name is not two-part, eDoc automatically assigns its own numbering starting with 01.

Note:

The chapter designation must not repeat within a structure level.
